New Eden Academy International has been in operation since 1997 and is preparing to graduate its first class of seniors - 17 graduates. Located on the campus of the University of Bridgeport, the Academy is a private, boarding school with a current enrollment of 58 students, nearly all of them residential.
We are in the process of putting together several proposals, including an on-line high school or distance learning program, various creative combinations such as a day school with family living arrangements, and clusters of home schoolers or other school arrangements in other areas of the country -- with only graduating seniors located in Bridgeport. We are also considering some creative ideas such as internships with church related projects for which students would write papers and receive grades for one semester.
We are at the point where we need to meet the needs of a larger number of students and at the same time transition towards a program which is financially feasible for parents.
In order to get a sense of the needs and desires of our worldwide church community, we would like interested parents and church members from all nationalities to complete the following questionnaire.
