I just got a call on the telephone from Larry Zilliox and he wants to know my sources. He wants to know which of his friends I have been talking to. Well, I did not know that a person of his character had any friends. And I bet this message is from Larry Zilliox under the disguise of an anonymized name. Well, I am not going to reveal my source. And that's that! If you would like to e-mail me privately with your phone number, I can call you on the phone. Please note that in Washington DC, I am 5 hours west of Greenwich. I can only call from home, so mornings before 9 am, evenings after about 6 pm and weekends will work. I could also adjust my schedule if you need to be reached at a particular time. Moon Craig, you make some good points about the Bible, and clearly you have read it carefully, if you did in fact write this. However, there is no need to denigrate someone else, Rev. Moon in this case, in the same breath as sharing your own faith. Just share your faith, sincerely and simply and let that speak for itself. The barbs do you no credit. And for your information, the term "heavenly deception" is used by Unification Church critics, and not by members of the church. It is not something we teach, it is something others accuse us of teaching. Sincerely, ITPN, Damian Anderson Craig Maxim wrote: > Rev. Indeed. And Jesus said this: Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?" "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator `made them male and female,' and said, `For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'  So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." "Why then," they asked, "did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?" Jesus replied, "Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery." (Matthew 19:3-9) Is marrying six times in accordance with this teaching? > As someone who follows the heretical doctrines of Mr. Moon, *you* > are not in any position to be passing judgment on who is or is not a > Christian. You certainly are not a follower of Christ (Christian).  > You are a follower of Moon - a heretic and an anti-Christ. I did not pass judgement on whether she is a Christian or not. I just don't think she is qualified to judge whether someone else is or not, and frankly, I don't think you are qualified either.  Remember what Jesus said: "Teacher," said John, "we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us." "Do not stop him," Jesus said. "No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, for whoever is not against us is for us.  (Mark 9:38-40) I believe in Jesus Christ and attempt to the very best of my ability to live according to his teachings. I don't think it is your place, or that of a woman with six husbands to tell me otherwise. I trust that God is my judge, not someone who makes a habit of belittling and ridiculing the faith of others. Jesus had a name for such people. He called them blind guides and hypocrites. I guess that at the time of the second coming of Christ, there will also be the second coming of the blind guides and hypocrites. -- Damian Anderson damian@unification.net http://www.unification.net

I dispute that. I think YOU are anti-religious, because you are only willing to tolerate and respect people who are like you, and attack the faith of others who disagree with you. I am willing to talk about my faith, but when you bring in this secular nonsense about mind control, then you cloud the issues with psychobabble. I find the whole thing laughable. Christian ministers who fear losing their congregations to brainwashers have already lost them by their own insipidity. Christians who believe in brainwashing clearly have no concept of the dramatic religious conversion experiences that permanently change people's lives. Anyone who experienced that would know that conversion purifies not only the brain, but the heart, mind and soul, and starts a process of cleansing and regeneration which is the path to sanctification and holiness. If people are looking to new fringe religions for their religious experiences, you have to look no further than the Christian churches who have abandoned the Gospel in pursuit of the foreign gods of political correctness, tolerance, diversity, while ignoring the crippling evils of homosexuality, pre-marital sex, divorce, adultery, and abortion. This is another case of straining out gnats and swallowing camels. -- Damian Anderson damian@unification.net http://www.unification.net
